Nestled on the first floor of The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop, our restaurant offers a warm and inviting space to relax and dine.

With original wooden beams and exposed brickwork, the historic charm of the building creates the perfect setting to enjoy a hearty meal, a delightful afternoon tea, or even a quick cuppa before continuing your Bakewell adventures.

No visit is complete without savouring one of our handmade Bakewell Puddings – sold from this very building since 1860 – or indulging in a slice of Bakewell Tart.

Our restaurant is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, serving a menu full of delicious options, including our famous sweet treats and traditional afternoon teas.

 

 

​​​​​Please be aware our restaurant is located on the first floor and is only accessible by staircase.

Please note that we do not offer gluten-free Bakewell puddings or tarts in the restaurant due to possible production limitations regarding contamination. However, we do offer GF Bakewell tarts in the shop, as well as a selection of GF cakes in the restaurant supplied by an external bakery – please ask the restaurant for our range of options.
