ABOUT US
The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop is located in the heart of the market town of Bakewell in Derbyshire's Peak District National Park.

Our historic building, which dates from the 1800s, comprises an 80-seater licensed restaurant on the upper floor and a gift shop and bakery counter on the ground floor.
The shop is packed with gifts, food and drink while the bakery counter serves fresh, handmade produce from the award-winning artisan Bakewell Bakery, also located in the town.

The lower ground floor deli also serves our outdoor courtyard in warmer months - a hidden suntrap in which to relax and enjoy refreshments.

Accessibility
Due to the historic nature of our building the upper floor is inaccessible to wheelchairs. However, our shop is accessible on the lower floor with ramp access at the courtyard entrance and we offer seating in our downstairs deli, or in our courtyard during warmer months, which are ideal spots for dining from our restaurant menu.
